Dr. Elliott is an adjunct professor in the Medical School – Duluth campus Department of Biobehavioral Health and Population Sciences and an affiliate faculty member in the University’s Center for Bioethics. In addition to her education in medical and family sociology, she has been a visiting scholar with the Hastings Center and a Kellogg National Leadership fellow. In January 2013, Elliott was ordained an Episcopal priest. Her research interests have focused on social justice issues in health care settings, specifically developing and testing programs to improve access to care.
